Speaking of updating contact info... did you know that more pets go missing on July 4th than any other day of the year? Seriously! Fireworks combined with backyard parties and unlocked gates are a recipe for disaster.

Take 5 minutes to save yourself from this heartbreak:

• Check your dog's ID tags right now. Is your phone number current? Address still right? Then make sure your dog wears their collar and ID 😉
• Update your microchip info. Yes, you can actually log into that account! If you've never done this and you have a rescue dog, the contact info is probably still the shelter or rescue. Time to change that to YOU!

Even if you think "this would never happen to MY dog"... after 20+ years with Labradors, trust me. It's better to be safe than sorry.
