how will I know when I'm ready for another dog?

Hi [FORMATTED_FIRST_NAME GOES HERE] - Of course, I've been thinking a lot about when I'll get another dog. I also get asked about it all the time! ๐คช And while I desperately miss Burt and Lucy, I'm getting closer to being ready for a dog of my own. But I'm also enjoying bringing dogs into my life in unconventional ways! For example, I volunteer at my local shelter for Shelter Skip Day when I take an adoptable dog for a walk or home to play enrichment games. As a matter of fact, I'm headed to do that today right after I send this email! ๐ถ I have more ideas on how to bring dogs into your life when you're not quite ready for one of your own.
